What we can help with
Corrections
The most useful thing you can send. Name the page and the product, and say what the correct figure is and where you found it — a manufacturer’s page or the product’s own documentation is ideal. We check it against our source and correct in place, with the page’s last-updated date changed.
Coverage requests
Tell us which category you wanted and could not find. We cannot promise it, because a category only gets a comparison page if the specification data supports one — but requests are what tells us where to look next.
Method questions
How a figure was derived, why a field is missing from a table, what a coverage percentage means. If a page is unclear about its own limits that is a fault in the page, and we would like to fix it.
Press and citation
You may quote or cite anything on this site with attribution and a link. If you need a figure’s provenance for a piece you are writing, ask and we will point you at the source.
What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you whether a product will work on your rig, and we will not guess. Compatibility depends on your electrical service, your plumbing and your tire specifications — none of which we can see, and all of which your own documentation states. Where the question touches your electrical system, the right answer is a licensed installer rather than an email from a website.
We also cannot help with:
- Diagnosing a fault on your RV. We do not own one and have never seen yours. A monitor reporting a problem is telling you to get it looked at, and that is where we would leave it too.
- Warranty, returns or order problems. We are not a retailer and have no access to any order. Contact the retailer you bought from, or the manufacturer for a warranty claim.
- Product recommendations. We do not make them. The comparison pages are built so you can place a product against its category and decide for yourself.
- Guest posts, link exchanges and sponsored placements. We do not accept any of these. Messages proposing them are not answered.
Privacy
Emails are used to answer your message and nothing else. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, we do not share addresses, and there is no newsletter to be subscribed to. See the privacy policy for how correspondence is handled and retained.
Common questions
I found a wrong number on a page. What should I send?
The page URL, the product, the figure as published and the figure you believe is correct, with a link to where you found it. That is enough for us to check the source and correct it.
Will you review a product if I send you one?
No. We do not test equipment, so a sample would have nothing to contribute. Sending one would not get a product covered.
Do you have a phone number or a postal address?
No. This is a small editorial operation and email is the only channel. It is read by the person who writes the pages rather than by a support queue.
Can I republish your comparison tables?
With attribution and a link back, yes. Please include the date, since the figures are a snapshot and go out of date.
